Homeschool - Snake Program

10:00a to 11:30a
Wed, June 05, 2019
Amy Kocurek

Join Ranger Amy to learn about snakes.

We'll talk about what makes a snake a reptile and why snakes are very important to us. We'll then head outside to do a basking experiment to learn what material would be best for a snake to warm up on and how humidity and wind effect temperature.

For the younger children that may not be ready to do the science experiment, we'll have a snake arts and crafts program offered inside the nature center.

Space is limited so please sign-up ahead of time by following the link below:

*If you cannot make it to the program then you MUST cancel via Eventbrite or leave a voicemail at 409-698-6636. Please try to cancel 2 days prior to the program so that we can open up your registered spot for someone else.
