Nature Journal: Journey Mapping

Every trail we travel creates a new story of adventure. Practice mapping your journey to create the perfect keepsake.

Every adventure has an epic story to tell. As we wander along, we discover secret wonders, new curiosities, and exciting tales to tell. A journey map is the perfect way to keep the tales of adventure and share all you have explored.

Participants of all ages are welcome to attend. This program is best suited for those who can sketch for 10+ minutes at a time. This program includes a 1-1.5 mile hike. You can bring your own nature journal or use a piece of paper from us.

When: 3pm

Where: Meet at the Forest Trailhead closest to the highway in the Hen House Unit. 

Bring: Your own nature journal

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
