Second Saturday Birdwatching

Join us every second Saturday of the month to birdwatch with a knowledgeable volunteer!

Join us for a guided birdwatching trip with an experienced and knowledgeable volunteer! Explore a wide range of prime birding habitat and discover seasonal migration interest. 

When: 8am

Where: meet at the Boat Ramp in the Cherokee Unit on the south side of highway 190.

Cost: This program is free, entrance to the park requires a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. 

Bring: binoculars

Reminder: There are no restrooms in the Cherokee Unit.
