S'mores Roasting

Gather around as we enjoy this traditional camping treat!

Join us to gather, swap favorite s'mores stories, and practice roasting the perfect marshmallow. Share your technique on how to make the perfect s'more and meet your camping neighbors!

When: 2:00-3:30pm or until supplies last

Ranger will begin building the fire around 1:30pm if you'd like to learn more about campfires.

Where: NEW Amphitheater  (this feature is not yet on our maps. It is located next to the Group Hall in the Walnut Ridge Unit)

Bring: Bag chair

Cost: This event has been generously sponsored by the Friends of Martin Dies, Jr. State Park and is FREE to attend. Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or Texas State Parks Pass.
