Slow down and enjoy the afternoon. We'll bring the bait and the poles! Join us for fishin' with a ranger.

Discover fishing basics and try your hand with a rod and reel. We’ll bring the poles and bait, you just have to meet us there!

This program is suitable for all ages. If you have a group with 5 or more people, please let us know so we can bring enough poles! 

When: 1-3pm

Where: Meet at Walnut Slough Day Use Area in the Walnut Ridge Unit.

Reminder: There are no restrooms near the Day Use Area so plan accordingly.
