Join us for a talk on how to identify arthropods and become a citizen scientist!

Meet at the Visitor Center Lawn for this come-and-go station to learn how to identify arthropods and other bugs we might find! Bring your phone with the app "Seek" downloaded. We will have collected samples, or the option to join the safari and explore around the Visitor Center for interesting insects and the trees they call home. Bring water, weather appropriate clothing, and your curiosity!

Join our wonderful volunteer Marcia Beckford, Science Action Club educator, and Collin McMichael with TreeFolks Austin - an urban forestry nonprofit that empowers Central Texans to build stronger communities through planting and caring for trees.

*Parents must accompany all minors.

Event is free with paid entrance fees; Adults: $6, Children 12 and under: Free.
