The Winter Olympics are in full swing! Explore how some amazing feats of Olympians can be seen in the everyday behaviors of animals that live in McKinney Falls State Park!

Ski jumpers glide through the air like giant flying squirrels; hockey players and curlers work in teams toward shared goals like coyotes and crows; speed skaters glide at blinding speeds like roadrunners chasing an afternoon snack. Join us for an exploration into the lives of animal Olympians that make McKinney Falls State Park their home.

Meet: Playground

Bring: Water, close toed shoes, your best Olympic costume!

Difficulty: Moderate activity level, some elevation changes and uneven terrain, 1 mile hike. Parents must accompany all minors.
