Night Hike

7:00p to 8:30p
Sat, March 10, 2018
Park Headquarters
(512) 243-1643

Discover the world that nocturnal animals experience each night – the park after dark!

Find out what's awake while you're asleep! We'll seek out scorpions and other things that "glow" in the dark and experience the park at night.

We have a limited supply of black light flashlights. If you bring your own, that will give you the best opportunity to find your own creatures!

Meet: Lower Falls Restroom (7:00pm – 8:30pm)

Bring: Water, close toed shoes, small flashlight

Difficulty: Moderate activity level, some elevation changes and uneven terrain, 1 mile hike, *Parents must accompany all minors. Recommended for 8yrs old and up.

Wear closed-toed shoes - no sandals, please! Bring a small flashlight or headlamp, and water. Terrain is rocky. No dogs, please.

Please note that due to interest in our Night Hikes, this program is limited to the first 50 participants.

All programs are FREE with paid park admission, which is $6 per person ages 13 and over.
