UV Night Hike

Hike with a Ranger as we use UV lights to discover what creeps through the night!

Step into the night and explore the Little Springs Trail under Ultraviolet lights! Discover glowing wildlife, hidden colors in nature, and the secrets of the dark on this unique nighttime adventure.

Difficulty & Length: Moderate, 0.7 mile hike on a rocky trail

Meet: Crosstimbers Campground Restroom

Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, Water, Bug Spray, and Closed-Toe Shoes. UV flashlights will be provided. 

Cost: This program is included in park entry fees. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.

Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at the Front Office.
