Migration of Birds

Where's the birdie? Let's find out. Come to Choke Canyon State Park and join our interpretive park ranger to learn about the migration patterns of birds in North America.
Have you ever wondered just how far birds go when they are migrating, and where they go? Come learn about the vast distances covered and the pathways they take, as well as the variety of ways birds navigate the globe. Our park interpreter will guide you on your journey around the globe.
This event is held on Thursdays at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium and lasts one hour. Remember to migrate yourselves our way for this winter program!
It is free to attend for campers and day users. The park entrance fee is $5 per person (13 years and up).
