2nd Annual Mission Tejas Harvest Music Festival!

10:00a to 2:00p
Sat, October 12, 2019
Jared Shamburger

Enjoy the fall weather, and live folk music as well!

What’s the best way to welcome the cool weather? By hanging out on our festival grounds, enjoying nature, and relaxing with 19th century music! Bring chairs, bring a blanket, bring a picnic, and appreciate some old-fashioned tunes!

- Join us for the 2nd Annual Mission Tejas Harvest Music Festival, brought to you by the Friends of Mission Tejas State Park!

- Experience the performance of local old style musicians in our pioneer park! The Red Flat Cats, String Theory, The Big Eyed Rabbits, and Camino Real will all be playing on the porch of the historic Rice Family Log Home.

- As this special event is put on by the Friends of Mission Tejas group, admission is free! But donations to our friends group upon entry are highly appreciated. Their volunteering, projects, and support help our staff keep your state park beautiful, functional, and entertaining!

- Anyone who needs a break from the music can participate in Pioneer Games and activities with Park Staff and Volunteers on the Festival Grounds on the far side of the Rice Home as well.

Participants should bring water, appropriate clothing and footwear for the outdoors, folding chairs and a blanket if desired, and be ready to marvel in the music of the Texas frontier!
