1:00p to 2:00p
Sat, February 29, 2020
Jared Shamburger

Come see how the critters at Mission Tejas leave a strong impression!

It’s time for another introduction to tracking! Come out, enjoy the park, and follow in the footsteps of the wild by learning about animal tracks.

- Pick up how to distinguish coyote tracks from a bobcat’s, deer hooves from hog hooves, and follow in the footsteps of some of the other wild residents of MTSP.

Meet: At the Pond Spillway Bridge, park in the Day-Use Area.

Duration: The briefing takes about 5 minutes and the following walkabout comes in at 30 minutes.

What to Bring: Bring good footwear for muddy conditions (the best tracks are left by water), drinking water, appropriate clothing for the outdoors, and your inner Sherlock Holmes!

***Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees. ***
