Mammals of Mother Neff

All sorts of furry critters call the park home, take the chance to explore some of them with an interactive program where you can see and touch real animal skins and replica skulls.

Many amazing mammals call Mother Neff State Park home, and in this program, you will be able to explore the various predators, their prey, and the diverse adaptations they have to survive life in the outdoors. Using real animal skins and replica skulls, feel the furs of these creatures to get up close and personal to wildlife in a new way.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Day passes can be purchased ahead of time on our website.

Accessibility: This program takes place inside on level ground that is suitable for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility. Accessible parking is located close to the program area for easy access.
