Wildlife in the Stars

7:00p Sat, November 09, 2019
Jamie Harman
(254) 853-2389

Look up to see creatures in the skies above our park.

Join us to hear stories of the animals living in the stars. Most of the tales told about the stars are of Greek and Roman origin, since stories from these cultures were used in descriptions of the official 88 constellations list. We’ll learn some of these stories, but we’ll also hunt for animals seen by other cultures. Civilizations throughout history saw completely different creatures when they looked up at the sky.
