Start the New Year with a breath of fresh ocean air

Did you know 50-80% of Earth's oxygen comes from phytoplankton in the ocean? Breathe in the freshest air around and wash away your 2022 troubles on a leisurely walk along the shore.

During this excursion we will explore what the tide has brought in and learn about the flora and fauna surrounding Mustang Island. 

• Dress for the weather (hat, sunglasses, barefoot or flip-flops)
• Meet at the outdoor classroom of the day-use beach
• Walk to the jetties and back (1/2-mile round trip)
• Leashed pets welcome
