Tide Talk and Walk
Sat, May 17, 2025
Join a Ranger on a morning stroll along the beach! Learn about barrier island ecology & see what sorts of animals we can spot along the way!
Come join us for a walk to learn about stewardship of our ever-changing and vulnerable barrier islands of the Texas Gulf Coast, and view a variety of plants and animals that call them home!
Prepare: The walk will be about a mile in length from the Day Use beach to the Fish Pass jetties and back, done at a leisurely pace. Remember to dress for the weather as we will be outside for about an hour and a half. Leashed, well behaved pets are always welcome on our beach walks. Beach wheelchair friendly as well, inquire at our Park Headquarters in advance!
