A family service project. Join us on Earth Day and help us hike the trash out of Palmetto SP.

Earth Day is about giving back to the Earth and celebrating how much we appreciate our natural world. We will stretch our muscles and clean up the trails at the same time. Palmetto SP is known for having immaculately clean trails. Together we can make it happen and have fun at the same time.

Expect to walk a minimum of 1 mile and up to 5 miles if you're up for it. All ages and abilities are welcome. Check-in at the park HQ for the start location. Bring water, dress for the weather (rain or shine) and wear closed toed shoes. Disposable gloves will be provided, if you prefer hardier gloves or a trash picker bring it along.

Activity is free with paid admission to the park. Volunteer service hour credit can be given to high school students.
