Learn about the bison who once roamed Palo Duro Canyon and their many uses to the Comanche People.

Join Ranger Bradley and learn about how the bison acted as a grocery store to the Comanche People. Our bison pelt and bison parts will be on display. Come and learn how the bison provided people with the modern amenities we often take for granted. 

Things You Should Know: 

• Meet: Lighthouse Trailhead
• Bring: Weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.), sunscreen, and water.
• Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass(purchased before event).
