Constellation StarTour

7:30p to 9:00p
Sat, October 21, 2023
Bradley Kliemann
(806) 452-9844

Join our rangers in viewing some of the clearest and well-known constellations in our night sky. Besides viewing them, we’ll tell some of the stories cultures have told about them to better understand their world.

Listen to tales of the constellations around us. Some of these stories may be known to us, and others we might be hearing for the first time. We’ll have our telescope ready to go, so all you’ll need is your star gazing spirit!

Things You Should Know:

  • Meet: Large Dirt Parking Lot past the Juniper Camping Loop. Look out for our brown program sign across the road on your right hand side!
  • Bring: Weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.), and a headlamp/flashlight. You may also want to bring binoculars or your own night sky viewing equipment and download an app like SkyGuide or Stellarium.
