Scorpion Hike

Join us for a scorpion hunt! Bring an ultra-violet flashlight and join us in searching for scorpions along the trail in this evening hike!

After a brief overview of scorpions, we’ll hike along the Paseo del Rio trail (approximately 1 mile) to search for scorpions using UV flashlights.

Things You Should Know

📍 Meet: Soapberry Day Use Area
🥿 Bring: Comfortable walking or hiking shoes/boots, water, a headlamp or flashlight, and a UV flashlight.
💲 Cost: Included with park admission. Admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass (purchased before the event).
