Women's Hike

Join us for a Women’s Hike through the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon.

We’ll be hiking the Sunflower Trail — about 2 miles total, rated easy and perfect for enjoying the scenery at a comfortable pace.                                                                             

Meeting location: Sunflower Trailhead (along main park road, past the Fortress Cliff Campground)

Reminder: It’s Friday, so expect longer lines at the gate. Be sure to arrive early to make it in on time. 

This hike is open to women of all experience levels — a chance to connect with others, enjoy the canyon, and move at a relaxed pace.

Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
