Night Hike Safety Hike

Join our rangers for a quick stroll to discuss hiking at night and being safe while hiking after dark.

Although the sun sets at night, the adventure doesn’t need to end! Learn 7 steps to safely hike a night while taking a stroll.

Things You Should Know: 

• Meet: Soapberry Day Use Area
• Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots (they will get sandy), plenty of water, weather appropriate, comfortable clothing.
• Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
