Join our rangers in a short moonlit hike along the river. Watch the Sturgeon Moon rise over the walls of Palo Duro Canyon and hear the tales of this special, summertime full moon.

Things You Should Know:

Meet: Dirt parking lot, just past the Juniper Camping Loop.
Bring: Weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.), a headlamp/flashlight, 1 liter of water per person per mile and comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots (they will get sandy).
Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass (purchased before event).
