Texas Reindeer Relatives
Fri, December 20, 2024
We may not have reindeer in the park, but we’ve got plenty of deer who are practically ready for the sleigh!
This holiday season, join a Ranger for a fun and festive adventure as we explore the deer species that call the park home. From the graceful whitetails to the fleet-footed mule deer, you'll learn about these amazing animals, their unique habits, and how they thrive in the Texas landscape. Along the way, we'll dive into the fascinating ways they adapt to winter conditions, what they eat, and how they navigate the wild—whether it’s prancing through the snow or bounding through the brush!
So, forget the sleigh and reindeer—come see the true stars of the season!
