Haunted History Hike (Registration Required)
Fri, November 13, 2026
Come hike and hear the haunting tales of the hills in Palo Pino Mountains State Park!
Our rugged terrain and hills have many stories, some more haunting than others. Tales of railroad and oil field workers. Stories shared by cowboys around the campfire. Legends passed down between native tribe members. Follow a ranger as you descend into the night and hear stories shared since the birth of our nation.
Pro tip: Make a day-use reservation ahead of time to ensure entry into the park. THEN email Ranger Kate to secure your spot on this program! In your email, include how many participants you're signing up and if any are minors. Thank you!
