Bring your horse to explore our iconic terrain with a guide!
Follow a volunteer on horseback as they guide you and your horse through the winding trails, fascinating history, and unique ecosystems of Palo Pinto Mountains State Park.

Time: 9am - 12pm
Meet: Equestrian parking lot
Distance: 6-miles on Tucker Lake Trail & Cross Timbers Trail
Terrain: Rocky terrain with some gravel areas, couple of low water crossings that could have water or be dried up, shoes or boots for horses is recommended, 100yds near train tracks but no horn is blown
Bring: 32oz of water for every person in your group (water refill station along the way), sun protection
