Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Fossils and Geology!

Bring your scout to experience our local rocks and fossils!

For "Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day" bring your scout to experience the fossils and rock layers of the Hill Country! We'll have fossils you can touch, a sketching station, guessing game, and rock type trivia!

Find out how to find fossils near you and what each one tells us about our ancient past!

Stop by and leave at anytime during this event. We'll be set up from 4pm till 5pm. Then the Star Party will start later at 7:30pm!

• Where: Meet at the Falls Parking Lot
• When: Anytime between 4:00pm and 5:00pm
• Bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes for the weather. You'll want to hike to the river after this event!
• This event is weather dependent and we will have to cancel if there is lightning, heavy rain, or heavy winds.
• No fee to attend this event! Normal entrance fees are required to enter the park (Kids 12 and under are free!)
