Post Oak Ridge State Park - Backcountry Hike

Join a park ranger on a long guided hike to the Colorado River at Post Oak Ridge State Park. EVENT IS FULL. Please check back for future opportunities.

This is a roughly 10-mile hike with significant hills and uneven terrain. This hike will likely take 4 to 5 hours and could be longer. Registration is required to attend this hike.

Meet: at the entrance gate to be greeted by a ranger who will provide you access and show you where to park.

Bring: Hiking boots, water (recommended 1 liter per hour of activity), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, snacks and layers to account for weather.
