Join us this month for a special demo featuring foods from early American History to celebrate America 250!
Have a Dutch oven and want to learn how to use it or just curious to see what our Purtis Creek Dutch Oven Society has going on? Come check us out at the pavilion for a demo and free food! We will be doing a special demo to celebrate America 250! Come get a taste of early American foods and create your own colonial kitchen spice mix!
- Time: 8 am - 11 am (Sampling around 10:30 am)
- Meet: Pavilion (Day Use Area). Pavilion features an accessible walkway and accessible picnic tables.
- Bring: Curiosity and an appetite!
- Cost: Free with park admission ($5 per person, 13 years and older). Donations greatly appreciated but not required!
