First Day Hike - Greenbelt Unit - 100 Year Celebration

Looking to start the new year off with a hike? Join us!

Come celebrate 100 years of Texas State Parks by starting the new year off right with a ranger led hike on the Greenbelt Unit!

We will start out on Coyote Run Trail and finish on Swallowtail Trail totaling to about 2 miles. These are unpaved, gravel, and bare ground trails.

Dogs are invited but must be on a secure leash (please no extendable leashes), up-to-date on vaccinations, and socialized around other people and dogs.

When: Jan. 1, 2023, 9AM-10:45AM

Who: All ages and dogs welcome!
Bring: Water for yourself and your pup, trail shoes

Attendance to this event is open to the public and free AFTER regular day use or camping fees.
