Solar Eclipse Viewing

Join us to witness the partial solar eclipse!

Stop by anytime between 11:30am-3pm to witness the rare occasion that the Sun, Moon, and Earth align to create a solar eclipse!
Although in Texas we will only be able to view a partial solar eclipse, the moon obscuring 75% of the sun will still be quite impressive.
Visitors will be able to safely view the event with the use of special solar glasses and through a telescope equipped with a solar filter.
**NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITHOUT SPECIAL EYE PROTECTION

Solar eclipse will officially begin at 11:40am, will peak at 1:09pm, and finish at 2:39pm.

Meet: Pavilion 1 at the Day Use Area

Note: All park programs are free and open to the public with paid entrance fee ($7 per adult ages 13 and up, children12 and under are always free!). No need to register, just show up.
