Come out and hear examples of our nightlife.
BOO! It's Halloween Weekend!
Whoooo's hooting in the trees? What's that rustle in the grass? Join us for an evening adventure as we explore the mysterious sounds of the night!
Together we'll uncover the secrets of the park after dark from owl calls and coyote howls to frog songs and insect chirps.
Where: Kid Fish Pond Amphitheater
When: Friday, October 30th
Time: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
What to Bring: Water, Bug Spray, Closed-Toed Shoes, Weather Appropriate Clothing, Red Light Flashlights or Headlamps
Who: All ages welcome
Accessibility Information: This program will be held outside accessible from the Boat Ramp parking lot or Nature Center parking lot. Space includes dirt trails that maybe rough and uneven. If you are interested in our adaptive devices, please email us at RRLSPJohnsonBranch@tpwd.texas.gov.
This program is included in park entry fees. This program will occur after our Headquarters closes. Please make sure to book a Day-Pass reservation or use the Self-Pay station before attending.
