Do you have what it took to fight in the Texas Revolution? Join us to experience army life on the Texas frontier in the 1830s.

Do you have what it took to be a soldier in the Texas Revolution? Stop by between 10:30 and 4:00 to learn about drills, tactics and weapons used by the Texian and Mexican armies during the Revolution. Visitors can try their hand at marching in formation, firing a volley from our wooden muskets, and learn about army life in the 1830s.

When: anytime between 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Where: Picnic area near the entrance to the Battleship TEXAS. Look for the cannon!

Age Range: All ages

Things to Bring: Nothing, but the event is entirely outdoors, so dress for the weather.

Cost: Free

The program will be cancelled in case of bad weather or rain.
