Women's Only Guided Hike

Do you want to get outdoors, looking for a hiking trail that is not overly packed with people and form wonderful friendships?

Then Seminole Canyon is a place for you: The park will be offering women's only guided hikes. Sorry guys, you can still come to the park, but this hike is for the girls.

Cost: This guided hike is free with paid park entry fee of $5.00 (ages 13 and older) payable at Headquarters Building.

Trail condition: The 3 mile trail that has been selected is considered easy to moderate (very little elevation change).

Time: The actual start time is 9:45am and plan on being back at trailhead parking area around 12:30pm.

Meet: From the Headquarters Building drive toward Roadrunner Flat Primitive Camping Area, look for the sign with the red bandana at the trailhead.


What to bring?  A sense of humor, water, snacks and sunscreen.

What to wear? Dress for the waether, there may be a vary in temperature changes that morning (dress in layers) and closed-toe shoes.

Can I bring my children?  This guided hike is open to women ages 13 and older (minors must be accompanied by adult) and no pets.

What is the fitness rating? If you are reasonably active in your life, you will do just fine.

What if I am the youngest/oldest, too shy/talkative, slow/fast, in shape/out of shape? Well, someone has to be and no one will be left behind.

Who will I meet? Women from all walks of life - stay at home moms, retired women, businesswomen, and from all stages of life - with young kids, with grown kids, no kids, about to retire, just moved to the area and just starting a career.
