Bring or borrow binoculars to see some of the amazing birds at Sheldon Lake State Park!
Walk through the ponds, woods, wetlands, and prairie while listening and looking for some of the interesting birds that live at Sheldon Lake State Park. We may see a Bald Eagle, Blue Jay, White Ibis, and more! Bird field guide and some binoculars will be available. Bird watchers of all ages and abilities should join us to enjoy the sport of birding.
Make sure to bring your water, bug spray, binoculars, and closed-toe shoes. All programs will meet at the Pond Center, first building at the end of the entrance road.
