Pond Ecology

Use a dip net to explore what critters live beneath the pond's surface!

Explore the world that lies just beneath the pond’s surface. Participants will use nets to discover the critters who call the ponds home and what it takes to make a healthy ecosystem. Help us search for water insects, tadpoles, fish, and more!

Sheldon Lake State Park does not require any fees or registration for this program.  Please make sure to bring your water, bug spray, binoculars, and closed-toe shoes.
