Come learn about who lives beneath the surface of the South Llano River.

Many different animals live in the river, including aquatic insects! Join us at the river, and we'll show you how to use a dip net ,seine net, and magnifying glass to see what kind of cool animals you can find.  Meet at Main Day Use parking lot (the big lot ) and be prepared to get WET.

 Drop in anytime between 1:30pm-2:30pm at the bottom of the stairs.

All ages welcome !

Bring: Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet! Sun protection (hat and sunscreen) and drinking water are also recommended.

Note: Programs are open to the public and free with park entrance ($5 per adult age 13 and up; kids 12 and under are free!). No need to register, just show up!!
