Curious about what critters we have at South Llano River State Park? Come stop by our table to learn more about our spiky, soft, and feathered species found in our diverse ecosystems.
Join ranger Michelle at Buck House to get a chance to see and touch skulls and pelts from wildlife species in Kimble County and at South Llano! You will learn more about native species, important wildlife foods, and non-native wildlife species impacts on our resources.
This will be a stationary program with seating and nearby restrooms at the park's headquarters available.
Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: Be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
