Ever wanted to take a look at the sun up close and personal without hurting your eyes? Come join us for a look at our solar system's one and only star!

Join Astronomers as we take a look at the big, beautiful Sun (safely) in a telescope! 

Never view the sun in a telescope without the proper filter!

All ages are welcome!

Where: We will be located in front of the camping loop shower facilties. Park in the camping loop shower facilities lot or in the overflow lot across from campsites 18 and 20. 

Who: Stop by with the whole family! All ages are welcome.

What to bring:  Dress for the weather!

Cost: Free with park admission purchase! Park admission is free for Texas State Parks Pass holders. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online!
