Underwater World

Join Ranger Michelle and make an underwater scope you can take home as a souvenir!

First, we will craft underwater scopes to view the creatures that live underwater! We will use iNaturalist afterwards to identify as many species as possible in the river area. We will have a self-guided bioblitz afterwards with rangers nearby to assist as you explore the many species that call South Llano River their home!

Please have iNaturalist downloaded on your phone and logged in already if you plan on joining the bioblitz after creating your own underwater viewing scope!

Where: Meet at the Day Use Parking Lot

Bring: Clothes you can get wet, closed-toe water shoes, sun protection

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: Be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
