Join us for a fun and educational guided hike through the beautiful Bottomland Forest at Stephen F. Austin State Park!
This spring break, discover the unique ecosystem of the park’s bottomland forest, where lush vegetation and a variety of wildlife thrive. Our expert guide will lead you through the forest, sharing insights about the plants, animals, and the importance of this habitat to the local environment. Whether you're a nature lover, family, or first-time hiker, this hike is perfect for all ages and experience levels.
Time: 2:00-3:00 PM
Location: Starting at the Amphitheater
What to Bring: Water, Closed-toe shoes, and Weather-appropriate clothing
Cost: Included with daily entrance fee. Adults are $5 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Want to speed up your entry process? Reserve online in advance.
Restroom Info: The nearest restroom is located on the RV Loop, so please plan accordingly.
No registration required – just meet us at the amphitheater and join the fun!
