Moonlight Night Hike
Come join us to explore the night with a ranger led hike to look for nocturnal animals and gaze at the moon's surface.
This event will begin at the amphitheater, then we'll hike along wooded trails to Sycamore Trail (approximately 1-mile round trip). When we reach a clearing, perfect for viewing the sky, we will gaze at the lunar landscape through telescopes and binoculars. Wonder what nocturnal animals we will discover along the way?
Time: 6:30 PM
What to bring: Water, closed-toed shoes, flashlight (red light preferred), and binoculars, if you have them. Dress for the weather.
Note: Park programs are free with daily entrance fee ($5 per adult; children 12 and under are free). If our office is closed when you arrive, please use the self-pay station to check in.
