Night Hike & Stargazing Adventure

Embrace the beauty of the night sky and explore the wonders of the great outdoors at Stephen F. Austin State Park!
Join us for an enchanting night hike with stargazing. Our adventure begins promptly at 7:00 PM at the amphitheater, where we'll gather for a brief introduction and safety overview. This is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and the cosmos.

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Meet: Amphitheater
What to Bring:
- Comfortable closed-toe walking shoes
- Flashlight or headlamp (preferably with a red filter to preserve night vision)
- Binoculars (optional, but great for stargazing)
- Dress for the weather
Cost: Included with daily entrance fee. Adults are $5 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
*Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at Park Headquarters.
