All camping gear and equipment required for an overnight stay at the park are included with each reservation! Click for a list of activities offered and specific information for this workshop.

Weather Update:

We're watching the weather too! Our scheduled workshop at Lake Livingston is expecting some rain and thunderstorms. Please know that our rangers have your safety and enjoyment in mind! The current plan is to carry on with the workshops and make a decision about Saturday's overnight weather while on site and adapt the agenda to fit in the activities when safest. This may involve waiting to set up tents until the early evening when the overnight weather is more definite. If necessary, we may call an end to the workshop before nightfall and transfer your reservation to a future Fall 2017 workshop of your choosing. Work with your rangers at the park and come with a smile and sense of adventure. There is fun to be had in the rain too!

A few tips:

1) Always bring a rain jacket, extra clothes and shoes
2) EZ up tents or tarps and rope can provide cover over picnic tables.
       a. Bring games or cards to enjoy time with the family under the tent
3) When lighting roars go in doors – when camping if you hear thunder or see lighting take shelter in your vehicle or an enclosed building.
       a. Tents and open pavilions are not sufficient shelter in a thunderstorm.
       b. Shelter in place until 30 minutes past the last sound of thunder or sight of lighting.
