Look to the skies during peak hawk migration.

Join us for the peak of Fall Hawk Migration. A little cooperation from the weather can mean large numbers of hawks and other birds of prey flying over Tyler State Park on their way to their southern wintering grounds. Bring binoculars, a chair, and a little sunscreen and keep a sharp eye on the sky. Don't miss the vulture lift-off that usually happens between 9am and 10am, letting know when the hawks should start coming over head.  This is a come-and-go event, so come for a little while or stay for the whole thing. Masks are recommended and we will be social distancing, but that won't bother the hawks. Meet behind the Silver Canoe Park Store.
