Some of those wildflowers and stately trees are more than just pleasing to the eyes. They can be quite tasty, handy, or even lifesaving. Learn to identify some of the edible and useful plants of the Post oak savannah. Learn about their preparations for foods, medicines, dyes, and other historic uses. We'll talk about ethical foraging and plant safety, too. 

Dress for the weather, bring water, and be ready for a1/3-mile walk.
