Almost Full Moon Hike

Join us for an almost full moon hike in the woods. During this ranger-led hike, we will be exploring the adaptations of nocturnal animals and testing our own senses in the dark. Find out more about the creatures that are active when the sun goes down. Registration for hike is required.

Prepare:  This 1-mile hike will be over uneven terrain, so closed-toed shoes are recommended. Dress for the weather bring water, and mosquito repellent. 

Only red-lens flashlights will be permitted.

Please, no pets allowed.

Cost: This program is free with park entry of $4.00 per person 13 years old and older (children 12  and under are free). 

Please get your park permit before arriving  either online or arrive early and get your permit at the self-pay station in front of the park office.
