One of Caddo Lake's most unique and elusive residents is the paddlefish. Formerly a species commonly found in the Mississippi River and its tributaries, this fish is now restricted to a much smaller range and is listed as threatened in Texas. Discover how the paddlefish lives, the challenges it has faced, and what is being done to bring it back! Meet at the fishing pier parking lot.
Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no fee for the program, but park entrance fees apply.
