Habitat Management Workshop - In-person Only

Workshop overviews the 5 tools of wildlife management and includes a field tour to observe how these practices can be used on the land.

 Join wildlife professionals at the historic Hanna Ranch to learn about Aldo Leopold's 5 tools of wildlife management and how these tools can be put into practice on your land. Aldo Leopold, the father of wildlife management, discovered that wildlife habitat can be restored using the same methods in which it was destroyed. The first part of the morning will consist of several presentations covering the 5 tools, followed by a field tour which will highlight how these practices can be conducted to improve wildlife habitat. We will then return to the pavilion to answer any follow up questions or assist any landowners who are needing guidance on formulating a wildlife management plan. The Hanna Ranch is located ~13 miles southwest of Gatesville.
