- GOOD. Water stained; 65 degrees; 0.42 feet below pool. Crappie are fair in 20 feet of water on brush piles with minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good in 20-25 feet of water on midlake points with punch bait and shad. Report by Jess Rotherham, Texas Crappie Fishing Service. The morning bite has been solid around grass with moving baits and topwaters. As the sun rises higher Texas rigged worms on main lake points has been producing.
